IPL Communications, MyNetFone and Panasonic join forces to launch new pure-VoIP product range for the SOHO market

Panasonic, its Australian distributor, IPL Communications and MyNetFone have partnered to release Panasonic’s KX-TGP500 range of VoIP wireless phone systems.  The range, which is targeted at the SOHO market, offers customers the choice of two device options and phone service solutions, both of which will be bundled with MyNetFone voice services.  The new range will be available for reseller orders from 13th September 2010.

The Panasonic KX-TGP500 range is positioned in the market to deliver business-quality handsets and service tailored to meet the needs and budget of SOHO businesses. The key selling point for resellers is its simple ‘plug and play’ setup, as the stylish, feature-rich Panasonic KX-TGP500 range comes pre-configured with MyNetFone’s VoIP services. This solution eliminates the need for extensive wiring costs, ancillary equipment as well as the added hassle of in-field installation.

The Panasonic KX-TGP500 is an entry type DECT consisting of a location free base unit and a cordless handset, whereas the Panasonic KX-TGP550 consists of a base unit with both a corded and cordless handset. Each unit can register up to six cordless handsets (Panasonic KX-TPA50) and with up to three lines, this is the ideal telecommunications solution for home offices, retail stores, workshops, warehouses or small practices.

MyNetFone has also announced it will be releasing its competitive Small Office Cap plans in line with this launch. The MyNetFone solution delivers up to three voice lines, Number Portability and powerful call features (such as Auto-Attendant and Voicemail to Email).

Jerry Ng, Product Marketing Manager, Unified Communications, Panasonic Australia, said the new series is the ideal solution for small businesses seeking an easy-to-use phone system with outstanding functionality, quality and reliability.

“This versatile new series is the only pure-VoIP SoHo and SMB solution available in the Australian market that meets their needs and budget. With flexible configuration options and convenient cordless design, it has never been easier to deploy and expand a SIP-based phone system. The benefits of SIP are especially compelling in today’s business environment where every dollar counts. The reduced hardware costs and simplicity of routing calls over an Internet connection can add up to significant savings on monthly telephone bills,” he said.
