Avnet to Distribute Brocade High-Performance IP Networking Solutions to Local Channel Partners
Brocade (Nasdaq: BRCD) and Avnet Technology Solutions, a solutions distributor of enterprise computing products, software and services, and an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), today announced the extension of their global distribution agreement to include Avnet Pacific Pty Ltd in Australia.
Avnet will now distribute Brocade’s enterprise IP networking solutions to its resellers across the country. The partnership extends Brocade’s coverage in Australia’s information communications technology (ICT) market, and enables Brocade to leverage Avnet’s extensive networking knowledge and support expertise.

Avnet’s technical and sales support will help resellers understand how Brocade’s extensive portfolio of IP networking products allow customers to deploy new business and IT capabilities, while protecting existing investments, reducing cost of ownership and enhancing business continuity and security.
Brocade’s channel strategy complements Avnet’s solution distribution positioning, with initiatives already in place to support the ongoing development of finance, logistic, marketing, services and technical channel-ready programs.
