 mcm media's DEN reaches 100 million streams for online video and audio streaming

Just three months after its official Australian launch, mcm media’s Digital Entertainment Network (DEN) has proven its reach and audience appeal, delivering over five million streams per month and more than 100 million streams since the technology was first tested. The streams have been delivered through syndicated partner sites including News.com.au, The Daily Telegraph, APN’s regional sites and Yahoo!7 Music, as well as mcm media’s own Take 40, The Hot Hits and movideo sites.

 Alex Littlejohn Elected to IAB Australia Board for 2010

 Seagate Technology reports fiscal first quarter 2010 financial results

Seagate Technology (NASDAQ: STX) today reported financial results for the quarter ended October 2, 2009 of 46.3 million disk drive unit shipments, revenue of $2.66 billion, gross margin of 24.5%, net income of $179 million and diluted earnings per share of $0.35. The financial results for the quarter include $10 million of purchased intangibles amortization, $46 million of restructuring and a write down of long-lived assets of $64 million. The aggregate impact of these items is $120 million or approximately $0.23 per share.

 Australia dominates New York’s MIXX Awards snaring eight awards including Best of Show

Australia’s online advertising agencies Sapient Nitro, JWT Australia and ZenithOptimedia and Soap Creative have dominated the IAB’s fifth annual MIXX Awards in New York, collecting eight awards between them. The agencies, which were all successful at IAB Australia’s awards in July 2009, faced fierce global competition for the Awards which honour innovation and impact.
