Distribution Central selects NetSuite OneWorld to drive accelerated Asian expansion

NetSuite OneWorld to Replace Legacy On-Premise ERP/CRM Suite to Deliver One Single Global Business Management Solution

NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), the industry's leading provider of cloud-based financials / ERP software suites, today announced that Distribution Central Pty Limited, Australia’s multi-award winning provider of technology distribution and channel services, has chosen NetSuite OneWorld to deliver a global business management solution that can help accelerate its expansion across Asia. Distribution Central plans to replace a legacy on-premise ERP/CRM suite with NetSuite OneWorld to manage its financials, multi-currency, financial consolidation, CRM, payroll, inventory management and distribution operations.

Headquartered in Australia, Distribution Central is a privately owned IT distributor of technology-leading security, networking, data storage and unified communications solutions. It also provides specialised channel services and support including technical and professional services, asset management, vendor certification and training services. Recently named the 2011 BRW ANZ Successful Private Business of the Year, its revenue grew rapidly from AU$22 million in FY2007 to AU$178 million in FY2011. It currently employs 115 staff across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.

Distribution Central selected NetSuite’s cloud-based ERP/financial system over a legacy on-premise ERP/CRM system to more flexibly and cost effectively support its complete business operations in any Asian market it expands into, or elsewhere in the world.

“We knew we needed a more robust ERP and CRM system when we opened an office in Singapore earlier this year because our existing systems didn’t work well with foreign currencies and different accounting and industry regulations,” said Nick Verykios, Managing Director of Distribution Central.

“When we looked at the various ERP/financial vendors that might keep pace with our rapid, multinational growth, NetSuite’s cloud-based solution was the clear winner. It provides a powerful, complete business tool that can expand as we do, without draining our resources like traditional, non-cloud ERP systems can do through their sheer cost and complexity.”

NetSuite OneWorld is the world’s most deployed cloud ERP solution for global businesses like Distribution Central to manage complex multinational sales organisations that use multiple languages and currencies. With NetSuite OneWorld, Distribution Central gains real-time visibility into every aspect of business performance locally, regionally and companywide. Every employee also shares the same personalised view of data sets through dashboards, no matter where they are located or what device they are using.

“Having an up-to-date snapshot of everything from how much inventory we have in stock, or where a reseller’s order is at, in the palm of every employee’s hand is incredibly powerful for us,” added Mr. Verykios.

Mark Troselj, Managing Director of APAC for NetSuite, said: “Distribution Central is growing at a phenomenal rate in Australia and across the region. NetSuite is an ideal solution for distribution companies and we’re delighted that it chose us to support their business and growth.”

Distribution Central plans to integrate its existing ecommerce solution with NetSuite to provide a complete business management tool to give it the support it needs to rapidly open additional offices in the Asia-Pacific region throughout 2012 and beyond.

Today, more than 10,000 companies and subsidiaries depend on NetSuite to run complex, mission-critical business processes globally in the cloud. Since its inception in 1998, NetSuite has established itself as the leading provider of enterprise-class cloud ERP suites for divisions of large enterprises and mid-sized organisations seeking to upgrade their antiquated client/server ERP systems. NetSuite excels at streamlining business operations, as demonstrated by a recent Gartner study naming NetSuite as the fastest growing top 10 financial management systems vendor in the world. NetSuite continues its success in delivering the best cloud business suites to businesses around the world, enabling them to lower IT costs significantly while increasing productivity, as the global adoption of the cloud accelerates.
