Net-worxs Software selects Rubicon Project to automate advertising in retail environments across Australia

Net-worxs Software has announced it has partnered with Rubicon Project (NYSE:RUBI) to expand automated advertising in Australia, a first within the WiFi industry.

The partnership with Rubicon Project will provide clients with the ability to present a free WiFi service to their customers on a cost neutral system. Clients will also have the ability to recoup the cost associated with deploying a WiFi service throughout their Centre.

The exclusive Net-worxs Software & Rubicon Project integration will give clients a platform to allow their retail tenants to advertise via Rubicon Project’s leading Buyer Cloud technology.

Net-worxs Software is a provider of premium digital marketing solutions in Australia, particularly within the ever-changing retail environment, providing customers with the closest Point-of-Sale mobile digital platform available in Australia today. Net-worxs Software’s technology currently reaches over 350,000 customers within retail centres and achieves an additional $6.8 million in retail sales for clients as a result of its digital marketing system.

Alan McAndrews, C.E.O of Net-worxs Software commented: “We are very excited with the partnership between Rubicon Project and Net-worxs Software. We believe bringing the automated advertising platform to the WiFi industry will produce the best results for our clients with the greatest scope of expansion.

“With the continued development of the WiFi and Mobile industries, the Automated Cloud fits perfectly with the ever developing strategies associated with the retail environment. Net-worxs has always prided itself by being at the forefront of development within the WiFi industry and this partnership is another example of that continued commitment to provide the best systems available to the marketplace.”

Out-Of-Home ad spend has seen its fastest growth worldwide coming out of the APAC region at a CAGR rate of 8.6%1, and in Australia it accounts for AU$600 million (12.2%) of total media spend – according to eMarketer2.

Rick Mulia, MD of JAPAC for Rubicon Project, commented: “This partnership with Net-worxs Software further consolidates the expansion of Rubicon Project’s automated advertising technology into the Out-Of-Home arena, and after recent developments in both the US and UK, we are now seeing the Australian industry following hot on their heels. By working with Net-worxs Software, our technology will enable advertisers to reach consumers in very targeted retail environments, with the same efficiency and effectiveness they have been able to achieve online.”

Net-worxs Software and Rubicon Project integration will launch today at Centres within the Net-worxs inventory, coinciding with the launch of Australia’s first ‘Friendly WiFi’ location at Waterford Plaza, Perth.
