SailPoint redefines identity security with new adaptive identity innovations

SailPoint has expanded its identity security platform with new capabilities designed to help organisations manage the rise of AI agents, machine identities and privileged access. The updates include support for discovering and governing AI agents across platforms such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Databricks and Salesforce Agentforce, as well as expanded machine identity lifecycle management and privilege visibility. The announcement positions identity governance as a continuous, adaptive discipline rather than a periodic review process, reflecting the growing risk created by autonomous AI workloads and unmanaged non-human accounts.
