SailPoint signs strategic collaboration agreement with AWS to secure agentic AI with a unified identity governance layer

SailPoint and AWS have announced a multi-year strategic collaboration agreement aimed at accelerating identity-first security for agentic AI. The collaboration will build on SailPoint’s existing Agent Identity Security partnership with AWS to create a unified governance layer for all identities interacting with AWS services, including human users, machines and AI agents. The agreement reflects the growing need for organisations to govern access, enforce least privilege and maintain visibility as autonomous AI workloads scale across cloud environments.

“The proliferation of AI agents is creating a new class of non-human identities, and each one represents a new attack surface.” — Mark McClain, CEO and Founder, SailPoint
