Cyber Minds

Sam Salehi, Managing Director, ANZ at Qualys

Just over a year ago, we started talking with Qualys about moving beyond traditional customer case studies and recommended creating a platform for real conversations with cybersecurity leaders. Our objective was to create the kind of content B2B buyers increasingly look for when they’re deciding who to trust.

That idea has come together with the launch of Cyber Minds, a series of candid discussions with CISOs and security leaders about the challenges they’re dealing with, how the role and the industry are changing, and what’s on their wish list for the future.

Working with Sam Salehi and the Qualys team, we helped shape the concept and built a bank of questions for them to choose from, designed to spark conversation and help each leader share their own authentic perspective on the topics that matter most to them.

Our Communications Director and Qualys account lead, Carlotta Vittori, stepped in front of the camera to introduce the series, which we filmed after Qualys’ ROCon CXO event in Sydney earlier this year.

Medicare hack: AI agent more like an unchecked teenager than elite threat actor, expert says

Gary Savarino, Identity Strategist APAC, SailPoint, in Cyber Daily

Rapid response is part of any good PR program, and when news breaks you need to move fast. Speed only gets you so far, though. With every security vendor commenting on the same incident, you need a sharp point of view and a memorable way of putting it.

When the OpenAI agent incident involving the Medicare portal hit the headlines, much of the early coverage leant into the idea of rogue AI. Gary took a different view. He compared the agent to an overly diligent teenager who hasn’t been given proper boundaries and argued that the real issue is how few organisations have the visibility and controls to govern identities, human or otherwise, operating at machine speed.

That comparison gave Cyber Daily a fresh angle on a story it was already covering, and Gary’s comment became a stand-alone piece a day later.

Let’s Talk: What Do You Do When Paid Ads Stop Paying Off?

Featuring Ayaan Mohamud, Regional Vice President, APJ Marketing, impact.com, in Dynamic Business

We keep a close eye on editorial callouts, regular columns and feature across the media our clients care about, and we’re always looking for opportunities to share their expertise with the right audience. Dynamic Business’s Let’s Talk series puts a question to a panel of experts each week, and when the topic turned to paid ads that have stopped paying off, it was the perfect opening for impact.com.

As the partnership platform behind affiliate, creator and publisher programs for brands around the world, impact.com has a clear view on where growth is coming from as paid media costs climb. We worked with Ayaan to shape a point of view that made the case for partnerships, arguing they deserve the same rigour as paid media, with proper measurement and attribution to actual sales. A customer example from Elite Supplements, now returning more than ten times its ad spend through impact.com, gave the argument real weight and put impact.com’s expertise in front of an engaged SME audience.
